Our Approach

You Want Care That Feels Steady

Many families come to us looking for a pediatric experience that feels more complete. They want time for conversation. They want space for questions. They want care that considers more than a single symptom at a time.

At our clinic in Nashville, we practice integrative pediatrics. That means we use conventional medicine when it is needed and helpful. Antibiotics, imaging, prescriptions, and referrals are part of our training and available when appropriate.

It also means we consider additional layers of support such as nutrition, sleep foundations, gut health, nervous system regulation, and environmental factors that influence how a child grows and adapts.

We bring clinical experience and a broad toolkit. You bring what you are noticing. Together, we build a plan that supports your child now and as they grow.

Pediatric Care

What This Looks Like in Practice

  • A broad clinical toolkit, including pharmaceuticals when appropriate and additional integrative options when helpful

FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Integrative pediatrics at MindStream means your child's care includes both conventional medical treatment and broader support for long-term health. We prescribe medications and antibiotics when appropriate, and we also address nutrition, sleep, gut health, nervous system regulation, and environmental factors that influence development.

Families seeking an integrative pediatrician in Nashville often want a wider clinical toolkit and more time for thoughtful decision-making. That is the model we practice.

  • Yes. As licensed medical providers serving families in Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area, we diagnose and prescribe medications when clinically indicated. Integrative care expands options; it does not replace conventional training.

When medication is the right step, we use it. When supportive strategies are appropriate, we discuss those as well.

  • MindStream Pediatrics operates as a membership-based pediatric practice. Membership provides ongoing access, continuity, and reduced visit pricing. It supports longer visits, same- or next-day sick care for established patients, and steady follow-up throughout childhood.

This model allows us to practice relationship-centered pediatric care without the time constraints of traditional insurance billing.

  • MindStream is a membership pediatric practice and does not bill insurance directly. Many Nashville families use insurance for labs, imaging, prescriptions, and specialty referrals. We can provide documentation if you wish to submit visits for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Some families choose to use MindStream for integrative pediatric consultations while maintaining an insurance-based pediatrician for certain services. Others transition primary care fully to our practice. We're happy to discuss what structure works best for your family.

  • We follow evidence-based guidelines and use the CDC schedule as a reference point. We also provide space for informed discussion. Timing, pacing, and individual considerations are reviewed together so decisions feel clear and supported.

Families looking for vaccine-friendly pediatric care in Nashville often value open dialogue, and we are committed to that approach.

  • We care for children from infancy through adolescence, supporting each stage of growth and development for families throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee.

  • The first visit is comprehensive. We review growth history, development, sleep, nutrition, digestion, behavior, immune history, and environmental context. The goal is to understand the whole picture before making recommendations.

  • MindStream Pediatrics is designed for families who value relationship, dialogue, and a broader view of health. If you are searching for an integrative or membership-based pediatrician in Nashville, a Discovery Call is the best way to determine whether our approach aligns with your needs.
